Temat seminarium:

Labirynty i drogi ku światłości Jana Amosa Komeńskiego

Jako organizatorzy przewidujemy obrady i dyskusje wokół następujących zagadnień:

1. Myśl J. A. Komeńskiego w kontekstach nauk przyrodniczych, ścisłych, humanistycznych, filozofii oraz teologii.
2. Światopogląd Komeńskiego w kontekście osiągnięć nauk przyrodniczych jego czasów.
3. Rola nauk ścisłych w koncepcji człowieka i świata Jana Amosa Komeńskiego.
4. Komeński jako pisarz epoki baroku: retoryka oraz poetyka tekstów.
5. Symbolika światła/światłości w paradygmatach kultury i literatury europejskiego baroku.
6. Wizje państwa i świata sprawiedliwego w literaturze barokowej.  
7. Barokowe koncepcje edukacji i modele wychowania: pro et contra.
8. Myśl polityczna Komeńskiego wobec polityki państwa polskiego w XVII w.: pro et contra.
9. Symbolika flory i fauny w tekstach Jana Amosa Komeńskiego.

            Koszty dojazdu oraz zakwaterowania pokrywają uczestnicy (jednostki delegujące). Koszt noclegu, ze śniadaniem, w Wersalu Siedleckim wynosi 95 zł za dobę.

Wpisowe, przeznaczone na pokrycie kosztów uroczystej kolacji oraz wyżywienia podczas konferencji (obiady, przerwy kawowe, kolacje) i druku materiałów pokonferencyjnych, wynosi 400 zł (dla gości spoza Polski 100 euro). Osoby zainteresowane prosimy o wypełnienie niżej zamieszczonej ankiety.

Conference subject

The labyrinths and ways to the light of John Amos Comenius

The conference will be organized around the following topics:

1. J. A. Comenius’ thought in the context of natural sciences, exact sciences, humanities, philosophy and theology.
2. Comenius’ worldview in the context of achievements of natural sciences of his time.
3. The role of exact sciences in John Amos Comenius’ conception of man and the world.
4. Comenius as a writer of the baroque era: the rhetoric and poetics of his writings.
5. The symbolism of light in the paradigms of European baroque literature and culture.
6. Visions of the state and a just world in baroque literature.
7. Concepts of education and parenting styles in the baroque period: pro et contra.
8. Comenius’ political thought towards the policy of 17^th century Poland: pro et contra.
9. The symbolism of flora and fauna in John Amos Comenius’ works.

Participants (delegating institutions) are requested to pay their own travel and lodging costs. Bed and breakfast at Wersal Siedlecki: 95 PLN per night.

The registration fee, including the banquet, a meal package (lunch, coffee break, dinner) and the subsequent publication of conference proceedings: 400 PLN (100 EUR for guests from outside Poland). Anyone interested in participating in the conference is requested to fill in the form below.

Labyrinthe und Wege zum „Licht“ des Jan Amos Komensky

empfehlen wir für Ihre Beiträge die folgenden Themenkreise:

1. Das Denken von J. A. Komensky im Kontext der zeitgenössischen Natur- und Humanwissenschaften: zwischen den „exakten“ Wissenschaften und Philosophie und Theologie.
2. Die Weltanschauung Komenskys angesichts der naturwissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse seiner Zeit
3. Die Rolle der exakten Wissenschaften in der Konzeption Komenskys von Mensch und Welt
4. Komensky als Schriftsteller des Barock: Rhetorik und Poetik
5. Die Lichtsymbolik allgemein in der europäischen Kultur und Literatur des Barock und bei Komensky
6. Die Vorstellungen vom gerechten Staat und von der gerechten Welt in der Barockliteratur
7. Barockkonzeptionen von Bildung und Erziehung – ein Vergleich
8. Das politische Denken Komenskys angesichts der polnischen Politik im 17. Jh. in seinem pro et contra
9. Flora- und Fauna - Symbolik in Komenskys Texten

Fahrt- und Unterkunftskosten übernehmen die Teilnehmer(innen) selbst. Die Kosten für Übernachtung mit Frühstück in Wersal Siedlecki betragen 95 zł pro Person. Für das festliche Abendessen und Vollpension während der Konferenz (Mittagessen, Kaffeepausen, Abendessen) und für die Konferenzunterlagen, werden 400 zł erhoben (für ausländischen Gäste 100 Euro).

Szanowni Państwo

       Pragniemy poinformować, że IV Międzynarodowe  Seminarium Naukowe w Uniwersytecie Przyrodniczo- Humanistycznym w Siedlcach nt. „ Labirynty i drogi ku światłości Jana Amosa Komeńskiego” przewidziane na maj 2013 r. zostało przesunięte na rok 2014 (dokładny termin zostanie podany w stosowanym czasie). Powodem przesunięcia jest konferencja międzynarodowa w Naarden w Holandii, a także prośby wielu komeniologów o przesunięcie terminu. Uczestniczenie w trzech konferencjach naukowych poświęconych Komeńskiemu (Petersburg, Naarden, Siedlce) w tym samym roku jest nierealne. W planowaniu kolejnych Seminariów będziemy bardziej elastyczni.

Dear Sir/Madam,

      We would like to inform you that the 4^th International Academic Conference at the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Siedlce, entitled “The labyrinths and ways to the light of John Amos Comenius”, which was about to be held in May 2013, has been postponed to the year 2014 (the exact date will be announced soon). The postponement is due to an international conference taking place in Naarden, the Netherlands, as well as many participants’ requests. It is quite impossible to participate in three academic conferences devoted to Comenius (Peterborough, Naarden, Siedlce) in the same year.  We promise to be more flexible when planning forthcoming seminars.
